Technology, knowledge and experience
At Daito Golf, we use the same experience and technology that
our parent company (Daito Precision
Inc.) has acquired in manufacturing precision parts for the high-tech
industries. Our professional engineering team follows rigorous procedures
from design to quality control (ISO 9001-2000) to ensure that all our
putters are made the same, perfect in design and great in your hands.
Computers can't do it alone
While we use the latest software and machines available, it’s
our dedicated employees that make it all happen. We put our passion in
our work to make sure that every Daito Putter will meet the highest expectations:
YOURS!
Here’s a list of facts about our engineered putters:
- The Virtuoso line features superior heel-toe weighting for accuracy,
forgiveness and distance control.
- The Stealth and Genesis both have a high moment of inertia (MOI) which
makes the ball roll straighter and sooner for more consistent putts.
- A unique design in the cavity of the insert, plus the copper nickel
plate, provide a larger sweet spot for miss hits, a soft smooth feel
for better control.
- A distinctive alignment, which eliminates visual distortion so a golfer’s
perceptions of distance and direction are more accurate.
- All our putters are CNC machined from solid grain metals, eliminating
hot and dead putts which are found in casting, this will provide you
with the ultimate feel, giving you the confidence to make every putt.
- The shaft and grip plays a very important part, that’s why we
use stepless shafts from Royal Precision and Winn AVS grips, so you can
feel the whole experience during your putting stroke.
Art and science
When we decided to create the Daito Putters, we had the technology, plus
our expertise in precious metals. We wanted to create a putter that performs
and looks great. We use the finest and most refined metals.
Here is some
description of these precious metals:
Beryllium-copper
Has the highest strength and hardness of any commercial copper base
alloy, with added benefit of machining compatibility. This alloy
comes with a pink-copper reflection that will oxidize over time
to maintain its value.
Copper-nickel (Toughmet®)
A proprietary metal by Brushwellman combines high strength, machinability
and durability. Comes in a champagne color finish and will also
oxidize to a beautiful vintage finish.
Stainless Steel (Project 70+®)
A proprietary stainless type 303 made by Carpenter Technology Corporation
designed expressly for machining providing a smoother or brighter
surface finish.
Cold finish steel
A carbon steel metal further refined through a cold finish
process, for better grain structure, machinability, and different
finish applications.
Aluminum aircraft alloy
One of the lightest metals, great machinability, able
to increase MOI, larger heads, capable to apply different finish
applications.
We chose these metals for their different density and performance to
attain a certain weight factor that gives you a balanced instrument as
well as a beautiful finish.
